Digi Pack Draft

These two designs are the front and back of my Digi pack, I have not started the interior designs yet but it will be the next thing I do in my coursework.

The Music Video / digipack

The Music video is coming along nicely with a variety of footage being used, the footage so far jumps from location to location much like a normal music video would, and I have completed half of the music video so far. I need to do more filming and will complete this on Saturday 20^th. In the meantime I have attempted to create a stylish digipack cover, back and inside, however, I need to have a quick photo shoot with my chosen artist (Elliot Duncan). After these two tasks are complete I will edit them and try to complete them by the end of January.

First Draft Feedback:

Positives:

• Really engaging start. 
• Great colour editing and saturation which really helps to create this image of paradise/ holiday in keeping with Bruno Mars. 
• Nice idea with the text
• Good camera edits and I especially like the way you have overlaid shots of the dancers with Elliot singing. This creates good continuity.

Areas for improvement:

• Make the rest of it as good as the first half! You have worked hard on this but be careful now to make sure the rest of your footage is in keeping with the professional and creative start. 
• Lipsync needs to be checked. The beginning sections need a slight tweak to make sure they are in time but some of the later shots need be focused on as they are out of time at the moment. 

Things to consider:

• When are you going to repeat the words on the screen? I think this could be effective so make sure that you think about how you will use this idea and make sure it follows a sense of continuity throughout the video. 
• Do you want to repeat any of your shots or will you be getting new shots to fill the remaining time? My suggestion would be that you need a bit of both.
